Privacy Terms

Thank you for visiting DAU online. It is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites. Please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the various aspects of the policy to put your mind at ease. By using DAU online, you acknowledge that you have read through the policy and agree to its contents.

Minors

Our websites are intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. All users who are minors in the jurisdiction in which they reside (generally under the age of 18) must have the permission of, and be directly supervised by, their parent or guardian to use our websites. If you are a minor, you must have your parent or guardian read and agree to the terms of this policy prior to you using our websites.

Website visitors

Like most website operators, we collect non-personally- identifying information of the sort that Web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose with collecting this information is to better understand how our visitors use our websites. From time to time, we may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g. by publishing a report on trends in the usage of our website.
We also collect potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. We do not use such information to identify visitors, however, and do not disclose such information, other than under the circumstances described below.

Gathering of personally-identifying information

Certain visitors to our websites choose to interact with us in ways that require us to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for our services to provide a username and e-mail address. Those who engage in transactions with us are asked to provide additional information, including, as necessary, the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, we collect such information only insofar as it is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with us. We do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Aggregated statistics

We may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to our websites. For instance, we may monitor the most popular service accounts on our site to display publicly or provide to others. However, we do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of certain personally-identifying information

We disclose personally-identifying information and potentially personally-identifying information only to those of our employees, contractors and affiliated organisations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on our behalf or to provide services available at our websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organisations may be located outside your home country; by using our websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. We will not rent or sell personally-identifying information and potentially personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to our employees, contractors and affiliated organisations as described above, we disclose potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our property or rights or those of third parties or the public at large.

If you send us a request (for example via an e-mailed support request or a request via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. We take all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorised access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

Deletion of personally-identifying information

You may choose to close your user account and can have your personal information deleted. To do so, submit a request in writing via e-mail to info@dau.technology. We will contact you to confirm the request and also to verify your identity. Upon verification, we will begin the process of anonymising and deleting your personal information.
